Helping Tap Dancers Find Their "Voice"

ABOUT

Helping Tap Dancers Find Their “Voice”…

Featured in The Wall Street Journal and Dance Teacher Magazine, Common Ground was created by Justin Boccitto and Germaine Salsberg in 2019.

It began in New York City as a space for tap dancers to learn from teachers who create an environment for students of all styles. The project has grown into a global community with over 60k followers on Instagram, offering Pop-Up Classes in NYC, Denver, Los Angeles, as well as a library of Class Recordings you can take anytime from anywhere in the world.

Common Ground also travels the country, bringing master classes, residencies, choreography, seminars, and more to studios and organizations nationwide with our On Tour series.

STATEMENT OF SOLIDARITY

Common Ground’s founders and teachers strive to build an inclusive, equitable, and diverse environment. We continue to strengthen our commitment to our BIPOC and Asian/Asian American colleagues, friends and community, vowing to always listen and learn. Celebrating an art form that was created by the African culture is one our core goals, always putting this at the forefront of our teaching, sharing, and passing down to younger generations.
